What is best profession in the world for average people?

I have, in my opinion, it is career in quality field, why? Because I think this position is probably one of flexible , challenging,  demanding career by a wide variety of sectors (such as manufacturing, engineering, food production, transport, petrochemicals and the public service sector)  in the word you could choice ! the reason :

• Every company (especially in manufacturing) face tough competition in this globalization era with promising of good quality to their Customer become a weapon for them to survive .
• This situation make every company should have a quality department as assurance to their buyer as a result it will open many position in this quality section from lower rank to highest rank (Quality operator to Quality director).
• Quality position can vary from one company to another company ,nevertheless a primary job classification are constant regardless of industry or organization , so it offer quick adaptation to the new company .
• Quality profession offer better salary compare with other department because have allowance of job responsibility and challenging .
• Quality knowledge /skills is standard around the world so quality practitioner could easily move to other company or even to other country for better future.
• Quality knowledge is not difficult to learn as long as you have basic knowledge in mathematics and English language .

So what a skill you should have if you decide to take challenge in this field:

• Good report writing skills (basic writing skills to make a countermeasure report in case of customer complaint).
• Familiar with the methodologies, tools and concepts of quality management.(like ISO 9001 ,ISO 14001, and so on )
• Be able to interpret statistical data with the help of software packages. (like Minitab software and you should have basic knowledge of SPC)

• Be customer oriented (always treated Customer as a king)

Position in quality mostly will fill a permanent position in an organization. Because they play a significant role in the success of a company. So that why I choose career as Quality engineer even  my education background is in Mechanical-Electrical engineering. Anyway, have lifelong and stable career plus offer promising future is always a dream for average joe like me. And I thought I found this dream in quality field.
